We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our client's team in Swindon on a temp-to-perm basis.
The Role
As a Class 2 Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering food stock to clients safely, efficiently and on time. You will be representing our client at each delivery, so a professional, friendly and customer-focused approach is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly.
- Delivering food stock to clients across the local area and surrounding locations.
- Loading and unloading goods as required.
- Completing delivery paperwork and relevant documentation.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Providing excellent customer service at each delivery.
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
- Following all relevant driving, health and safety regulations.
The Ideal Candidate
- Hold a valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
- Hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Have previous Class 2 driving experience.
- Be reliable, punctual and professional.
- Have good communication and customer service skills.
- Be physically fit and comfortable with loading/unloading duties.
- Have a strong commitment to health and safety.
- Be comfortable with an early 6:00 AM start.
