We're recruiting an experienced and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to join an established waste management and recycling operation based in Purton, Wiltshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver looking for full-time, ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
You'll be operating a Class 2 vehicle as part of a busy RORO (Roll-On/Roll-Off) and recycling operation, helping transport waste and recyclable materials safely and efficiently.

What Does the Role Involve?
- Driving a Class 2 HGV to collect and transport waste and recyclable materials.
- Operating a Roll-On/Roll-Off (RORO) vehicle, carrying out collections and deliveries to designated sites.
- Ensuring skips, containers and loads are handled safely and securely.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly.
- Following all road safety regulations, drivers' hours rules and health and safety procedures.
- Ensuring all collections and deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally.
- Completing relevant paperwork and operational documentation accurately.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and roadworthy vehicle.
- Working independently while supporting the wider operations team when required.
What We're Looking For
- A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV driving licence.
- A valid Driver CPC qualification.
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous HGV driving experience.
- A good understanding of road safety and drivers' hours regulations.
- A reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
- A commitment to health and safety.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous RORO, skip, waste management or recycling experience would be an advantage. However, if you have solid Class 2 driving experience and the right attitude, we'd be keen to hear from you.
