HGV Class 1 Driver in Stockport

Driver Hire Stockport are currently recruiting for a number of experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our ever-growing team! We cover the SK Postcode and have work available Monday through to Friday, with start times varying but generally between 5am-8am.

Whether you are looking for full weeks or flexible working hours we have the option to suit you.

We have various contracts available such as multi-drop, flatbed, and general haulage work with roughly 50 clients supplied on a weekly basis.

The Successful Class 1 HGV Driver will have:

• Valid Cat CE Licence (HGV Class 1)
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
• No more than 6 points (No DD\’s, DR\’s, IN\’s, TT\’s endorsements)

Duties of this HGV Driver will include:

• Driving the HGV vehicle responsibly while obeying all traffic laws.
• Carrying out the required daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance.
• Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle when necessary
• Good communication with Branch Managers on daily progress.

• Minimum 8 hours pay per shift*.

Pay Rates:

Paid weekly via PAYE

£17.59- Minimum 8 hours paid

£23.53- Paid after 8 hours

This rate of pay has holidays accrual included within the hourly rate, if you wish to accrue these separately then this rate will become £15.70h and £21ph overtime.
