We have been operating for 40 years and pride ourselves in quality service. We have various roles such as haulage, flatbed work, day and night work with over 40 customers supplied weekly.
Duties of this HGV Driver includes:
- Driving HGV vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws
- Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance.
- Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress
- Completing paperwork accurately as instructed
Our HGV Driver must have:
- Cat C Licence (Category C – HGV Class 2 Driver) & CE Licence – HGV Class 1
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No DD\’s, DR\’s, IN\’s, TT\’s
- Must have 6 months relevant driving experience.
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Able to work to tight deadlines.
Pay Rates:
Class 1 Rates:
£16.81ph and £22.41ph overtime (After 8 hours)
The rates above include holidays accrued within the hourly rate; if you wished to have your holidays put aside then the hourly rate for a Class 1 would become £15.00ph and £20.00ph overtime.
Class 2 Rates:
£15.68ph and £20.91ph overtime (After 8 hours)
This rate of pay has holidays accrual included within the hourly rate; if you wish to accrue these separately then this rate will become £14.00ph and £18.66ph overtime.
