Driver Hire Stockport are currently recruiting for an HGV 7.5T Driver to work for our well-respected client based in Stockport. Manual handling is required as you will deliver food/fresh produce to businesses. Working Monday to Friday, 7 am start. This is a temp-to-perm position; the right candidate will be offered a full-time job.

Duties

  • Safe and responsible driving of HGV 7.5T Driver
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks
  • Keeping in contact with our branch team on progress
  • Completing paperwork accurately and on time

Requirements

  • Valid HGV C1 (7.5T) Licence
  • Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 6 months' relevant experience
  • No DDs, DRs, INs, or TTs
  • Good time management and reliability

Pay Rates

While employed with Driver Hire Stockport you will receive £16.81 ph. This rate includes holidays paid upfront. If you prefer holidays to be put to one side you will be paid £15.00 ph. When you go full-time with our client you will receive £15.29 ph.
