Driver Hire Stockport is currently recruiting a HGV Class 2 Driver for our reputable client based in Stockport. This role offers Monday to Friday work with 7:00am starts. You will be required to complete 2-3 nights out per week, so the ability to accommodate regular overnight stays is essential. Please note that this is a temp-to-perm position. New pass drivers are welcome to apply for this role - Interviews will be held ASAP.
Duties of this HGV Class 2 Driver will include:
- Driving HGV Class 2 vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws.
- Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance.
- Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress.
- Completing paperwork accurately as instructed.
- Assisting with loading and unloading the vehicle when necessary.
Our HGV Class 2 Driver Requirements:
- A Valid Cat C Licence (HGV Class 2)
- A Valid CPC Card
- A Valid Digital Tacho Card
- No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's endorsements)
Pay Rates: £29,500.00 per annum plus £26.20 per night out. While employed with Driver Hire Stockport you will receive £14.00ph and £17.50ph (you can also have the option to have your holidays paid upfront with this, which will make your hourly rate higher).
