Driver Hire Stockport are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to work for our clients across the SK postcode. As the busy season approaches we are looking to expand our team. We have work available Monday - Friday and have various contracts available such as multi-drop, flatbed, and general haulage work with roughly 50 clients supplied on a weekly basis. We can also offer work to drivers only looking for part-time work and can be fully flexible around the days you wish to work.
Duties of this HGV Driver will include:
- Driving the HGV vehicle responsibly while obeying all traffic laws.
- Carrying out the required daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance.
- Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle when necessary.
- Good communication with Branch Managers on daily progress.
Client Requirements:
- Valid Cat C Licence (HGV Class 2)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho.
- 6 months of relevant driving experience
- No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)
PAY RATES: PAID WEEKLY VIA PAYE £15.68ph- Minimum 8 hours paid £20.91ph overtime- Paid after 8 hours. This rate of pay has holidays accrual included within the hourly rate, if you wish to accrue these separately then this rate will become £14.00ph and £18.66ph overtime.
