Driver Hire Stockport are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to work for our well-respected client based in the Glossop area. You will be working as part of a dedicated team and for a company that truly values their members of staff.
The Successful HGV Class 1 Driver will have:
- Have C+E Licence
- Have a CPC Card
- Have a digital Tacho
- Have no more than 6 points on your licence
Our Class 1 HGV Driver's responsibilities may vary but include:
- Knowledge and implementation of RWTR / Drivers Hours/ Breaks
- Ability to use internal and or any external strapping
- Customer-orientated
- Strong work ethic and the ability to integrate into different companies
- Build a good relationship with our customers
This role will be ongoing for the right driver through our agency. Nights out are also required, averaging 1 or 2 a week at £30 per night out.
PAY RATES: PAID WEEKLY VIA PAYE £17.59h and £23.53h overtime (paid after 8 hours), this is with holidays paid within the hourly rate - for holidays to be put to one side the hourly rate would be £15.70ph and £21ph overtime.
