Driver Hire Stevenage & Hatfield are recruiting a class 2 or class 1 hiab driver for our customer based in Welwyn Garden City.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law, within driving regulations / hour limits.
- Follow all company Health & Safety guidelines and work to the company Standard Operating Procedures.
- Multi-drop delivery service of materials and plant; ensuring the products are loaded and unloaded safely and secured to minimize damage.
- Carry out any other duties appropriate for this post.
General Experience / Qualifications:
- Class 2 minimum (Class 1 preferable).
- Lorry mounted crane certified (Hook not Clamshell).
- Driver CPC.
- Previous construction industry experience.
- Plant delivery experience and/or qualification in plant delivery (NPORS).
- Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills and able to work to deadlines.
- Self-motivated, and able to work on own initiative; enthusiastic with can do attitude.
- Good communication skills.
For the right candidate a permanent position will be offered.
