About the Role
Driver Hire Stevenage are looking for a reliable and safety-focused HGV Class 2 ADR Night Drivers to join their customers growing operations team. You will be responsible for the safe transport and delivery of ADR-classified goods during night-shift operations. This role involves up to 3 deliveries to partner depots. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ADR driver looking for consistent night work, or a newly qualified ADR driver seeking to build experience with a supportive team. If you don't have an ADR certificate training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport ADR-classified goods safely and in full compliance with ADR regulations
- Carry out night delivery routes as scheduled
- Complete vehicle checks and defect reporting before and after each shift
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and digital tachograph records
- Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding delays or issues
- Ensure health & safety and Company standards are followed at all times
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- ADR certificate (Class 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9)
- Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Good knowledge of UK road networks
- Ability to work nights and commit to a consistent shift pattern
- No more than [6] penalty points; no DD/DR/IN convictions
