We are looking for professional PCV Drivers who are passionate about providing a safe, reliable, and caring transport service to passengers with additional needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, professional, and reliable transport service for clients and service users.
- Assist passengers, including wheelchair users, ensuring they are safely secured using the appropriate equipment.
- Operate the passenger lift and assist the Passenger Assistant when required.
- Support passengers with patience, respect, and an understanding of disability awareness.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks, report defects, and keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.
- Comply with all company procedures, road safety legislation, and health and safety regulations.
- Job Requirements
- Hold a valid, unrestricted Category D (PCV) Driving Licence.
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience driving a bus or coach to a high standard.
- Hold a valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Hold, or be willing to apply for, a DVLA Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Be willing to undertake and successfully pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Be reliable, professional, and committed to delivering safe passenger transport.
