Job Description

  • Provide a safe, professional, and reliable transport service for clients and service users.
  • Safely transport passengers while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Assist passengers when required, ensuring they travel safely and comfortably.
  • Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
  • Maintain a clean and well-presented vehicle.
  • Comply with all company procedures, road safety legislation, and health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Hold a valid Category B driving licence with the ability to drive an 8-seater minibus.
  • Hold, or be willing to obtain, a Southend or local Taxi/Hackney Carriage Licence.
  • Be 21 years of age or over with a minimum of 3 years' driving experience.
  • Hold a full, unrestricted Category B driving licence (automatic licence holders are welcome to apply).
  • Be willing to undertake a medical examination and driving assessment.
  • Be willing to undertake and successfully pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Be reliable, professional, and committed to providing a high-quality passenger transport service.
