Job Descriptions

  • Provide a safe, professional, and reliable transport service for clients and service users.
  • Assist passengers, including wheelchair users, ensuring they are safely secured using the appropriate equipment.
  • Operate the passenger lift and assist the Passenger Assistant when required.
  • Support passengers with patience, respect, and an understanding of disability awareness.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks, report defects, and keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.
  • Comply with all company procedures, road safety legislation, and health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Hold a valid, unrestricted Category D (PCV) Driving Licence.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience driving a bus or coach to a high standard.
  • Hold a valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
  • Hold, or be willing to apply for, a DVLA Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Be willing to undertake and successfully pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Be reliable, professional, and committed to delivering safe passenger transport.
