We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries using an 18-tonne vehicle, delivering goods in cages to various locations. This is a temperature-controlled role, so accuracy in handling and checking food temperatures is essential.
- 45-hour working week
- Temperature-controlled deliveries
- Multi-drop role (up to 14 deliveries per day)
- Local work - no long-distance driving
- Driving an 18-tonne vehicle
- Induction and Training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Job Responsibilities
- Loading and offloading cages safely and efficiently
- Checking and recording food temperatures
- Completing deliveries on time and in line with company standards
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring compliance with all road safety and transport regulations
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Good physical fitness due to manual handling involved
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
