Overnight Class 2 Driver in Basildon

Key Responsibilities

• Transport goods and materials to various locations performing 2 day shifts with an overnight stay.
• You will be driving a sleeper truck.
• Ensure the safe and secure loading and unloading of items.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients.
• Excellent paperwork management, remaining contactable at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 Driver license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in overnight or long-haul driving.
• Strong knowledge of local and regional roadways.
• Ability to work independently and handle overnight schedules.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Physical capability to handle loading and unloading tasks.
