DRIVER\'S MATE/ PORTER
Temporary Position/ Bank Staff
Location: Southend
Salary: £13.68 per hr (this rate includes holiday pay)
Early Start
- Monday to Friday - 8 Hour shift
- Saturday and Sunday- 8 hours (If required)
TEMPORARY ONLY
What you will be doing
- Drivers Mate/Porter providing support to the Driver of a Heavy Goods Lorry, delivering into Customers\' homes and Businesses
- Delivery of on average 30 drops.
- Unload deliveries to Customer locations.
- Completing Delivery Paperwork
- Provide excellent Customer Service
- Filling in Safety at Work Forms and Time-sheets
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Possession of Hi Vis vest, Steel toe cap safety boots and ballistic trousers
- A good understanding of Manual Handling and ability to do any Heavy Lifting required
- Team player who is also capable of working in a team
- Excellent time-management
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Good time-sheets administration
- Ability to follow instructions
