We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join a busy and well-established company on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for long-term work in a stable and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift truck to move goods, load and unload deliveries, and assist with general warehouse or yard duties as required. You'll be part of a team that works together to ensure smooth operations and timely handling of stock and materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock and materials around the site
- Assisting with general duties such as tidying, packing, or basic maintenance
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Valid Forklift Counterbalance Licence
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to start between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM and work a 9.5-hour shift
- Good time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- PPE is required (e.g., safety boots, high-vis, gloves)
