Driver Hire Southampton are recruiting for a reliable Warehouse Operative to join an established agricultural supplies business in Stockbridge.
The Role
The role will initially focus on picking customer orders, with a new computer system being introduced later in the year, which you will be trained to use.
What's on Offer?
- £28,000-£30,000 per year
- £50 weekly KPI bonus
- GBS bonus based on length of service and daily rate

Duties will include:
- Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Preparing orders for dispatch
- Moving and organising stock within the warehouse
- Checking stock and ensuring orders are correct
- Loading vehicles for delivery
- General warehouse duties
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Working as part of the team to meet daily requirements
- Learning and using the company's new warehouse computer system when it is introduced later in the year
- Carrying out relevant computer/system input as required
- Supporting the wider warehouse operation when required
- Carrying out customer deliveries when required
- Providing holiday cover for drivers during the quieter periods of January-March and October-December
A full UK driving licence is essential, as driving and delivery work will form part of the role.
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Reliable, hardworking and organised
- Good attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
- Must be over 25 due to insurance requirements
- Counterbalance, Reach Truck or Order Picker licences are preferred but not essential
- Training for these licences will be provided to the right candidate once permanent
