We're currently recruiting Class 2 (Category C) HGV Drivers on behalf of a well-established company within the waste management industry. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified drivers looking to build a long-term career, with full training provided and the chance to secure a permanent position.
The Role:
- Monday to Friday
- 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity
- 06:45am start (approximately 50 hours per week)
- Delivering, collecting and exchanging skips
- Operating Skip, RoRo and Tipper vehicles
- Completing daily vehicle checks and recording deliveries using a PDA
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and within scheduled time slots
What We're Looking For:
- Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply
- Previous Skip or RoRo experience is an advantage, but full training is available
- Experience using chains is beneficial
- Own transport to travel to and from work
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures and drivers' hours regulations
