Forklift Driver
Location: Southampton
Salary: £28,000-£30,000 per annum
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (12 weeks)

We are currently looking for reliable and experienced Forklift Drivers to join a busy ready-mix concrete production site in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role, with the potential to secure a permanent position after an initial 12-week temporary period.
The Role
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently within a busy working environment.
- Loading, unloading and moving materials around the site.
- Supporting the wider warehouse and production teams.
- Carrying out routine safety checks on equipment.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area.
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a rotational shift pattern, so flexibility is essential. Applicants must be comfortable working rotating shifts, including the relevant early, late or night shifts as required by the rota.
- Early shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Afternoon shift: 2:00pm -10:00pm
What We're Looking For
- A valid, nationally recognised forklift licence is desirable.
- In-house forklift licences will also be considered.
- Previous forklift driving experience is preferred.
- A strong awareness of health and safety.
- A reliable, hardworking attitude and good timekeeping.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the rotational shift pattern.
