We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative with a valid forklift qualification to join our client's growing team in Southampton. Our client is a well-established packaging distributor experiencing continued growth and is looking for a hardworking individual to support their expanding warehouse operations.
About this role:
- Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
- 12-week temp to perm role
- 4:30am start time
- Picking and packing duties
- Printing, labelling and checking orders against manifests
- Organise stock in the warehouse
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts
- Assisting the warehouse manager and team with all aspects of warehouse operations
- Maintain clean and tidy work environment and follow health and safety regulations
Requirements for this position:
- Own vehicle to commute to and from work is essential due to start time and location of the client
- Previous warehouse and order picking experience is essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment
- Computer literate
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals
- Forklift licence is preferred
