We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative on behalf of a well-established electrical company based in Southampton. This is a temp-to-perm role offering stable weekday hours and the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing, and preparing electrical materials for dispatch
- Dealing with MOD, Construction and Residential electrical products
- Receiving and checking deliveries
- Stock control and general warehouse organisation
- Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and well organised
- Supporting the wider warehouse team as required
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Own transport to commute to and from work is desired
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and a positive attitude
- Manual handling involved
