Class 2 Driver

Driver Hire Southampton is seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join our client's team for a delivery role transporting drinks and snacks to airport lounges. If you have strong customer service skills and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role:

Position Type: 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with start times ranging between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering drinks and snacks to various airport lounges.
Goods will be transported on cages for easy handling.
You will have a driver's mate to assist with loading and offloading.
Completing security and DBS checks due to the nature of the delivery locations.

What We're Looking For:

Full UK Cat C (Class 2) driving licence.
Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
Previous Class 2 experience is preferred, but newly qualified drivers are welcome.
Clean driving licence (no more than 0 points or endorsements).
At least 5 years of continuous employment in previous roles.
Own transport for commuting to and from work.
Strong timekeeping, communication, and customer service skills.
Comfortable with manual handling and lifting heavy items.
