Driver Hire Southampton are currently seeking drivers with all levels of experience.
We are recruiting for van drivers on an ad-hoc basis to assist in making deliveries on behalf of our clients in Southampton and the surrounding areas. The type of work we can offer varies from builders merchant deliveries, electrical supplies, vehicle deliveries and many more. If you have experience in any multidrop work, we would love to hear from you!
About our Van Driving roles:
- AD HOC work (0 hours contract)
- Monday to Friday as well as some weekends
- Multidrop delivery work
- Deliveries may vary depending on our clients' requirements
- Start times between 6:00am and 8:00am
- Local deliveries as well as long distance runs
What we require from you as a Van Driver:
- Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months
- Fantastic time keeping
- Great understanding of manual handling and heavy lifting due to the nature of some of the roles
- Own transport to commute to and from work
- Good when working under pressure
- Strapping experience is beneficial
- Previous experience in a multidrop role is beneficial
- Flexibility
