We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative with a valid forklift qualification to join our client's growing team in Southampton. Our client is a well-established packaging distributor experiencing continued growth and is looking for a hardworking individual to support their expanding warehouse operations.

About this role:

  • Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
  • 12-week temp to perm role
  • 4:30am start time
  • Picking and packing duties
  • Printing, labelling and checking orders against manifests
  • Organise stock in the warehouse
  • Operate pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Assisting the warehouse manager and team with all aspects of warehouse operations
  • Maintain clean and tidy work environment and follow health and safety regulations

Requirements for this position:

  • Own vehicle to commute to and from work is essential due to start time and location of the client
  • Previous warehouse and order picking experience is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment
  • Computer literate
  • Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals
  • Forklift licence is preferred
