Join our team as a Class 1 Tramper Driver. We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team working in partnership with a leading logistics company. If you're looking for a dynamic role with plenty of travel and new experiences, this position is perfect for you!
About the Class 1 Tramper role:
- Workdays: Monday to Friday, full-time (around 48 hours a week plus overtime)
- Shift Start: Between 6:00am-7:00am (average 10-12 hour days)
- Duties: Long-distance driving, delivering palletised freight with occasional collections
- Deliveries: General haulage to UK businesses with forklift unloading
- Overnight Stays: Accommodation in your cab
- Responsibilities: Accurate paperwork, vehicle checks, adhering to health and safety standards
Requirements for this Class 1 position:
- Full UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
- Experience with load strapping
- Comfortable with overnight stays in your cab
- Good knowledge of health and safety, driving regulations, and drivers' hours
- Strong communication skills
