Looking for consistent weekday work with full training and long-term opportunities? Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Tipper Drivers to join a well-established client on an ongoing basis. Whether you're experienced with tipper vehicles or looking to gain new skills, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.
The Role:
As a Class 2 Tipper Driver, you'll be responsible for:
- Driving Class 2 tipper vehicles
- Delivering aggregate materials to construction sites, quarries, and commercial locations
- Completing deliveries safely and efficiently while following scheduled routes
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and adhering to all health and safety procedures
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 6:45am start
- Average 10-hour shifts
- Ongoing, regular work
Pay & Benefits:
- £250 sign-up bonus after completing your first 10 shifts
- Weekly pay (PAYE or PAYE Advanced)
- Minimum 8 hours' pay per shift
- 2-3 days of fully paid client training
- Ongoing, reliable weekday work

What We're Looking For:
To be considered, you'll need:
- A valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- A valid Driver CPC qualification
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 1 year's Class 2 driving experience
- A good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Excellent timekeeping and a professional attitude
Previous tipper experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
