Salary: £16.00 PAYE inclusive of holiday pay or £19.00 umbrella rate

Hours: 8 hours

We at Driver Hire Slough are currently recruiting for 7.5T (C1) drivers for a number of our well-established clients who regularly require experienced drivers. Our clients look for drivers who enjoy working in fast-paced environments, which at times does require elements of manual handling and loading and offloading merchandise.

Who are our clients?

  • With a number of various contracts we work with well-established clients
  • Clients who are within the tool distribution sector, wood material distributions, and household goods to name a few
  • Drops and collections ranging averagely from 4 to 8 a day

Responsibilities:

  • Loading and offloading of equipment
  • Securing and strapping down the equipment
  • Assuring deliveries are made in accordance with the logistic timing set by the management
  • Able to maintain good customer service as representatives for the clients

Qualities we are looking for in you:

  • Reliable
  • Trustworthy
  • Be a team player
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Have a valid, clean, and full UK license
  • Valid CPC and Tacho
  • Full 5-year employment history with no more than 28-day gaps in employment
