Pay: £65,520.00-£72,072.00 per year
HGV Class 1 (CE) License with a minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience.
Salary: £65,520 pa Mon to Fri with the ability to increase to £72,072 pa if you work every other Saturday. Salary is paid through PAYE and is INCLUSIVE OF HOLIDAY PAY.
Shift duration: Minimum 12 hours per day.
Our customer is a leading player within the Cargo airfreight industry who have secured a large contract with UK's largest airline, as such are looking to increase their current workforce. We are looking for drivers who are prepared to be flexible in their approach and are prepared to do long distance driving with frequent overnights, alongside waiting around the horse shoe. Flexible start times available on Day shifts starting from 1700 and 2200.
Company Requirements:
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Valid Driver Qualification (CPC) Card
- Valid CE Entitlement with minimum of 2 years experience
- Maximum 6 points on license – DR, DD or IN conviction codes will not be accepted
- Full 5 Year employment history with no more than 28-day gaps in employment - You must be able to provide your history using the Government Gateway portal and provide to us in PDF format.
- DBS dated within the last 10 weeks (not essential as we can assist you in obtaining one)
- Valid Cargo Operative Certificate Level D (not essential as we can assist you in obtaining one)
- Dangerous Good Category 8 desired (not essential as we can assist you in obtaining one)
- Manual Handling training (not essential as we can assist you in obtaining this)
- Health & Safety Awareness training (not essential as we can assist you in obtaining this)
- Working at heights awareness training (not essential as we can assist you in obtaining this)
- Be ok to sit a driving assessment with one of the customers approved driving assessors.
