Are you an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver looking for ongoing work with a well-known retailer? Driver Hire Sheffield is looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our client delivering DIY and home improvement products for B&Q across South Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

Commutable from: Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley & Chesterfield

Duration: Ongoing work for several months, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Induction required prior to starting.

About the Role:

  • Delivering DIY and home improvement products to customers on behalf of B&Q.
  • Home deliveries across South Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
  • Operating a HIAB crane and managing your own load using an ALLMI C5 + E qualification.
  • Working as part of a two-person team; you'll always be accompanied by a driver's mate.
  • Rotating shift pattern: Monday to Friday - 07:00 AM starts.
  • Overtime available every alternate Saturday - 08:00 AM starts.
  • A customer-facing role where professionalism and excellent customer service are essential.
  • Representing both the client and Driver Hire in a professional manner at all times.

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
  • Valid HIAB qualification, ALLMI C5 + E.
  • Minimum 2 years' Class 2 and HIAB experience.
  • Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • No more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.
  • Reliable, hardworking and professional.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
