At Driver Hire Sheffield, we\’re recruiting reliable and professional Drivers Mates to support a range of well-known clients on an ad-hoc basis. If you enjoy varied work, different locations, and meeting new customers each day, this could be the perfect role for you.
Please note: An induction may be required depending on the client.
Work available across South Yorkshire.
Easily commutable from: Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Chesterfield and Doncaster.
Requirements:
- Previous Drivers Mate experience preferred
- Full UK driving licence (minimum of 2 year experience)
- Own transport to get to and from work
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
The Role:
- Accompany the driver on daily delivery routes
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Contact customers ahead of arrival
- Assist with route navigation
- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries
- Provide a high level of customer service at every stop
You’ll be representing our clients directly, so a positive attitude and professional manner are essential.
While With Driver Hire You Will Get:
- £12.25 per hour (PAYE)
- Paid weekly
