Driver Hire Reading are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing supplier to the construction industry, currently seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join their Wokingham team. This is a varied role combining driving duties with warehouse support, ideal for drivers who enjoy being part of a hands-on, team-focused environment.
The Role
- Delivering and collecting goods across London and the Home Counties
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Supporting warehouse operations (picking, packing, loading)
- Assisting with forklift duties where required
- Maintaining high health & safety and FORS standards
- Ensuring professional presentation and customer service at all times
Requirements
- Valid Category C (Class 2) licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tacho Card
- Confident driving in and around London
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Physically fit (manual handling required)
- Forklift experience advantageous (training may be provided)
- Minimum age 25 (insurance purposes)
