Driver Hire Reading are currently looking for an experienced van driver to work with our client in Reading. This client is a distributor of plumbing supplies and they currently require a 3.5T driver to work with them on an ad-hoc basis.
Responsibilities
- The general duties of this role will involve navigating to other similar commercial locations, in order to make deliveries of the client's goods using a long wheel base van.
- These locations may be anywhere in the RG postcode or in the surrounding counties, and as such this role will involve a lot of driving.
Pay
- The pay rates on offer are as follows: £13.69 per hour basic.
- These rates are paid on a PAYE model, and are inclusive of advanced holiday pay.
- There is a minimum of 8 hours pay per shift.
Requirements
- A full and valid UK driving licence.
- No more than 6 points (minor offences only).
- Previous commercial driving experience.
- Attainable references in a driving capacity.
- Appropriate PPE (safety shoes and hi-viz).
