Driver Hire Reading is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers to support a growing portfolio of clients across the construction, builders' merchant and plant hire sectors. This role offers access to ongoing and future HIAB work with a variety of reputable local businesses, providing flexibility, consistency and competitive pay.
Role Details
- Class 2 vehicle operation
- HIAB crane use (brick grab / hook / remote)
- Deliveries to sites, yards and commercial premises
- Local and regional work depending on client
- Strong focus on safety and customer service
- Assignments may be short-term, ongoing or temp-to-perm, depending on client requirements.
Driver Requirements
- Full UK Category C (Class 2) licence
- Valid HIAB certification (ALLMI / NPORS / CPCS)
- Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HIAB delivery experience essential
- Good knowledge of safe loading and site procedures
- Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach
