Driver Hire Reading are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for skip lorry work with a well‑established operator in the waste and aggregates sector. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent weekday work with overtime available.
The Role
- Operating Class 2 skip vehicles on local routes
- Delivering and collecting skips safely and efficiently
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
- Accurately completing paperwork and job sheets
- Maintaining communication with the transport office
- Adhering to all health & safety and driving regulations
Pay Rates (PAYE)
- £19.00 per hour – Basic (up to 45 hours)
- £23.00 per hour – Overtime (after 45 hours)
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tacho Card
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
- Experience within waste, aggregates or construction preferred
- Strong focus on safety and compliance
