Driver Hire is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for a plant and tool hire company. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a stable, well-established business where no two days are the same.
The Role
You’ll be delivering and collecting a wide range of plant, tools, and equipment to commercial and domestic customers, while supporting depot operations when required.
Key Duties
- Delivering and collecting plant equipment and tools
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely
- Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
- Maintaining high health & safety standards
- Reporting any vehicle defects promptly
- Supporting yard and depot operations when needed
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 2 licence (Category C)
- CPC & Digital Tacho Card
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Mechanical or practical aptitude preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Flexible and reliable team player
