We are looking for 5 new people to join us as a Transport Operative / Driver. - You MUST have a UK driving licence to apply.
Hours are 9am until 5pm, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Include: Inspect returned commercial vehicles and identify any damage, defects, missing equipment, or compliance issues.
Carry out vehicle valeting and cleaning to ensure vehicles meet company presentation standards.
Remove and apply customer-specific decals, signage, and livery as required.
Undertake minor repairs and rectification work, including basic bodywork, fittings, and trim repairs.
Ensure all regulatory and company compliance requirements are met before vehicles are released for hire.
Complete pre-hire inspections and quality checks.
Move vehicles between company sites, workshops, customer locations, and external suppliers.
Liaise with workshop, operations, and fleet teams to prioritise vehicle preparation activities.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company Health
