About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 HIAB Driver with a strong background in handling plant equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing company within the construction and plant hire industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient operation of HIAB crane for loading and unloading plant machinery and materials
- Transporting plant equipment to and from sites across [region or UK-wide, if applicable]
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
- Maintaining high levels of health & safety and customer service at all times
- Liaising with site managers and logistics coordinators for timely deliveries and collections
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV licence
- In-date HIAB (Loader Crane) certification (preferably ALLMI or equivalent)
- Proven experience transporting and operating plant machinery (e.g., diggers, dumpers, telehandlers)
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of load securing and manual handling
- Strong communication and time management skills
