Class 1 HGV Driver

Job Title: Class 1 HGV Delivery Driver (C+E)
Location: Preston and surrounding areas
Job Type: Ad-hoc, flexible to your availability
Pay Rate: £14.00 – £15.00 per hour (PAYE – No umbrella company)
About the Role:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Class 2 / Cat C+E Delivery Drivers to support our clients in and around the Preston area. This role offers flexible, ad-hoc work, making it ideal for those looking to fit driving shifts around other commitments. Deliveries will vary depending on the client\’s requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 1/ Cat C+E vehicle to complete deliveries in a timely manner
• Ensure all goods are transported securely and in good condition
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and customers
• Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies
• Complete necessary paperwork and logs accurately
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (Class 1/Cat C+E)
• Valid CPC card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Held C+E licence for minimum of 12 months
• A strong work ethic, with a professional and responsible approach
• Punctual, reliable, and committed to meeting delivery deadlines
• Good customer service skills and a polite, friendly manner
• Honest and trustworthy
• Excellent timekeeping skills

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Days or nights
• Flexible ad-hoc shifts based on your availability each week
