About the Role:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Class 1 / C+E Delivery Drivers to support our clients in and around the Preston area. This role offers flexible, ad-hoc work, making it ideal for those looking to fit driving shifts around other commitments. Deliveries will vary depending on the clients' requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 1 / C+E vehicle to complete deliveries in a timely manner
- Ensure all goods are transported securely and in good condition
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and customers
- Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies
- Complete necessary paperwork and logs accurately
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (Class 1 / C+E) with no more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- Valid CPC card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous delivery driving experience is desirable but not essential
- A strong work ethic, with a professional and responsible approach
- Punctual, reliable, and committed to meeting delivery deadlines
- Good customer service skills and a polite, friendly manner
- Honest and trustworthy
- Excellent timekeeping skills
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday Days or Nights. Flexible ad-hoc shifts based on your availability each week.
