Class 2 HGV Driver (Moffett/Mounted Forklift Licence Required)

- Buckshaw Village, Chorley
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service and working safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customer sites.
- Operate a mounted Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) to load and unload deliveries.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is maintained to a high standard.
- Plan delivery routes and manage delivery paperwork accurately.
- Comply with all DVSA regulations, drivers' hours, and Working Time Directive requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service at all delivery locations.
- Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or delays promptly.
Essential Requirements
- Valid
- Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence held for 1 year or more
- Valid
Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Current Moffett (Mounted Forklift) Licence
- Good knowledge of UK driving regulations.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- A positive attitude with a strong commitment to health and safety.
Desirable
- Previous experience delivering building materials, timber, or palletised goods.
- Good geographical knowledge of the North West.
