Are you a skilled Class 2 Driver looking for a permanent role with a friendly, supportive team?

We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Wickham for an HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver to safely collect and transport waste liquids from domestic and commercial properties.

Previous tanker experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

This will initially be a temp to perm through Driver Hire Portsmouth.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (HGV/LGV Category C) driving licence.
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
  • Previous tanker or waste industry experience is advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class 2 tanker vehicles to collect and transport waste liquids.
  • Visit customer homes and commercial premises to empty septic tanks.
  • Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and site-specific requirements.
  • Complete scheduled collections efficiently whilst providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and comply with all transport legislation.
