Are you a reliable Class 2 Driver looking for consistent work? We’re recruiting on behalf of our Portsmouth-based client for immediate, temporary (initially) agency work supporting nationwide distributor of insulation and interior building products.
Requirements:
- Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence
- Up-to-date CPC and HGV commercial driving experience is essential
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships
- Strong commitment to health and safety procedures
- Positive attitude with a reliable and professional approach
- Willingness to undertake FREE MOFFETT forklift training if not already qualified
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive Class 2 HGV vehicles to deliver plasterboard and insulation products to customers
- Operate a MOFFETT forklift to load and unload materials efficiently (training provided)
- Complete multi-drop deliveries and return to branch for reloads as required
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, securely, and on time
- Maintain excellent customer relationships through professional service
- Follow all transport, safety, and compliance procedures
