We are proud to be supporting our Fareham based client, in recruiting a Bendi Forklift Driver to join their warehouse team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting a leading supplier of drinks and ambient foods in the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Bendi (Flexi / Pivot Steer) forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Putting stock away into racking at height
- Picking and replenishing palletised and case goods
- Supporting order picking for dispatch to cruise ships, airlines, airports, rail operators and hospitality clients
- Conducting daily forklift safety checks and reporting defects
- Maintaining accurate stock records using warehouse systems
- Assisting with stock takes and inventory control
- Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are followed
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the warehouse
About You:
- Valid and in-date Bendi / Flexi forklift licence
- Proven experience operating a Bendi forklift in a warehouse environment
- Experience working with racking systems and narrow aisles
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock control
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong commitment to health & safety
- Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Flexible approach to overtime during busy periods
