We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to join our customer, a well-established business based near Chichester. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver who is looking for a stable, long-term position delivering palletised goods to customers across the South coast. If you’re a reliable and professional driver with previous experience delivering pallets and providing excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you!
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (HGV/LGV, Category C) driving licence
- Valid CPC and Tacho Card
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Previous experience delivering palletised goods is essential
- Good knowledge of Chichester and surrounding areas would be advantageous
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Physically fit, as some manual handling will be involved
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach to work
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load, transport and deliver palletised goods to customers
- Carry out deliveries to customers across Chichester and surrounding areas
- Ensure goods are delivered safely and securely
- Assist with loading and unloading where required
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Provide excellent customer service at each delivery
- Ensure all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation is completed correctly
- Comply with all company, road safety and transport regulations
Benefits:
