About the Role
We are currently looking to recruit a flexible and reliable Class 2 Driver to join a local, well-established company on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a varied role where Class 2 driving will be the primary duty, but you will also be required to support with van (Cat B) and 7.5T driving when needed. You will be working as part of a small, friendly team, with a mix of driving and occasional warehouse duties.
Duties Will Include:
- Operating a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle
- Driving 7.5T and van vehicles when required
- Delivering and collecting metal and plastic products
- Completing local deliveries within an approximate 80-mile radius
- Assisting in the warehouse during quieter periods
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Providing a professional and reliable service
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Flexibility to carry out multi-vehicle driving duties
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- Forklift/Counterbalance licence advantageous but not essential
