Class 1 Driver

Perth Full-Time No home office possible

Driver Hire Perth are recruiting a Class 1 Driver on behalf of our client, a local haulier. This is a dayshift position, where you will be driving a curtain sided vehicle making deliveries across Scotland. Some handball may be required as you\’ll be driving to RDCs, factories and farms.

We support this customer all year round with holidays, sickness and busy periods so can offer a variety of shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

HGV1 Driver Requirements:

Full Class 1 driving licence (Cat C+E Entitlement)
Digital Tacho
CPC
Maximum of 6 points for minor offences (no DD, DR, or IN convictions)
Previous driving experience preferred
Comfortable with manual handling

Class 1 Driver Pay and Hours:

Monday to Friday shift pattern, starting at 07:00AM each day
Hourly rate of £15.13 per hour (including holiday pay) – Overtime paid after 40 hours at £18.49
Good potential for permanent employment
