Due to an increase in demand from a new customer in Paisley, we are seeking a Class 2 HGV driver. The company is the supplier of building materials for the construction industry and the public.
Your role is pivotal to their operation and working independently, you will be responsible for delivering safely to various sites across the region. Yard work is required when not on the road. A positive attitude is essential.
About the Role: We are seeking a qualified and dedicated HGV Driver to join our team, delivering across various locations. This role requires flexibility for travel and a commitment to safe, reliable delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate an LGV to deliver to various locations.
- Ensure safe and compliant handling and transportation of hazardous materials.
- Carry out basic vehicle maintenance and pre-trip checks.
- Complete required paperwork and ensure accurate delivery records.
- Follow all company, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
- Valid LGV (HGV) driving license.
- CPC Card.
- Maximum of 3 points.
Pay and Hours: Pay / PAYE rate from £13.40 to £20.10 per hour. Working for Driver Hire Paisley, you will pay pension benefits; all PAYE and National Insurance is paid directly to HMRC.
