Due to increased demand from a new customer in Paisley, Driver Hire Paisley is currently recruiting a Class 2 HGV Driver for an immediate start. This is a key role within the operation, requiring a reliable, self‑motivated driver who is comfortable working independently and supporting yard operations when required.
The Role
- You will be responsible for carrying out safe and efficient deliveries to various sites across the region.
- When not out on deliveries, yard work will be required.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and operate a Class 2 (LGV / HGV) vehicle.
- Make safe, compliant deliveries to multiple locations.
- Assist with yard duties when not on the road.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately.
- Adhere to all company, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (LGV / HGV) licence.
- Driver CPC card.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points.
