We are looking for a reliable and hard-working 7.5t Driver to join a busy waste removal team. This is a physical, hands-on role that requires someone who is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and is confident operating a 7.5 tonne vehicle on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a 7.5 tonne vehicle for the collection and transportation of bulk waste materials
  • Loading and unloading waste by hand and using appropriate equipment
  • Carrying out pre-use vehicle checks and defect reporting in line with legal requirements
  • Assisting with the manual handling and segregation of waste materials
  • Ensuring all waste is handled, transported and disposed of in accordance with current waste regulations and duty of care legislation
  • Completing relevant paperwork including waste transfer notes and consignment notes
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times
  • Liaising with site managers, customers and team members professionally

Requirements

  • Valid Category C1 licence (7.5 tonne)
  • Driver CPC qualification card (DQC)
  • Valid digital tachograph card
  • Good level of physical fitness - manual handling involved
  • Strong time management and communication skills
